Got started on the build and thought I would point out somethings. The motor mount will fit the 450 and 480 but would take modifying the mount to fit the eflite power 10.
We'll see what the 450 does and go from there. Also the way the push rods are done they have you connect the long push rod to a short one via to setscrew collet's. Might want to do something there as I think it is a weak point.
The rest of the plane is great. The finish on the fiberglass fuse looks like glass. I had to do some heat gun and iron work on the wings and tail but that's pretty normal. I'm looking forward to see what this Cosmic Wind will do.

Hey All,
Just wanted to say the build is going a little slower than I thought. I got caught up doing some family stuff and won't have the cosmic wind ready.
I hope to get it done in the next few days and maybe fly sometime this week. Sorry I could not get it done in time for testing this weekend.

Racers !
I will make another attempt to get this posted, the last couple of times did not work so well. Ok this is the breakdown with some provisions.
T-28/Corsair
There has been some concern about airframe and motor. Some of you have been already racing the new motor this past season with little or no difference to the outcome of the race. The newer motor can be purchased at Jake’s . The airframe and parts will still be available through this year.
Reno-450
This is a tough one, most of the planes we race in this class will no longer be available. At this point there should be enough to get us though the race season. We are looking for a new platform that would accommodate the motor and radio gear we use now.
Dogfighter
At the end of this last season there was only one Dogfighter left. I thought it would be easy not to have DF this year but it seems there is still interest in racing this class. I don’t want to leave anybody out . My provision would be that we slow them down a little to make it more appealing as a step up class to EF-1. We may gain a few more people in this class. It was the same three racers most of the year, I would like to see more. Lets race them, if attendance dwindles we will make change at that time. Maybe EF-1 lite. It is EF-1 on a 3-cell, it works well. Just a thought.
EF-1
No change
So it will be 1 season with 4 heats this allows a person a better chance to catch up if you miss some races. T-28, Reno-450, Dogfighter, EF-1
All comments welcome.

Sorry to toss this into the works, but I just found out about it ...
Coming soon from Mulitplex:
The Razzor is the latest in the Multiplex line of compact, electric racing planes whose modern looks and demanding agility command the skies. Built with Elapor foam and carbon-reinforced wings and tail, this lightweight aircraft maintains robust, structural strength while zipping through the clouds with incredible precision and maneuverability. Its large fuselage hatch allows handy access for easy maintenance while the removable wing provides compact transportability. Armed with a high-performance brushless motor and efficient speed control, the Razzor is the quintessential racing air machine. Fly on the cutting edge with the Razzor!
This will be an RX ready set-up. It has wheels! I tried to post a photo, but it wouldn't let me ... Check out the JPH facebook page for a pic.

The Racing starts on March 17 (third Sunday). The Only conflict I see would be Maybe Fathers day and the weekend of PCAM Airshow. That we Usually do the following Sunday. As for Fathers Day I don't know. As for the rules I believe they are the same as last year except for the prop in dogfighter. Steve and Red were gone this past weekend so hopefully we can get it picked this weekend.

These issues were discussed by the race team at the last board meeting Steve and Phil are working on it.

Has a prop been selected for the Dogfighter Class?
I'd love to get some practice with the race set-up this weekend.
It's going to be tough to slow them down with just a prop change. I say run the 10X10.
This is racing afterall, lets go fast!
. There are 2 other classes that have a slower pace.
Just my 2 cents.
Can't wait til round 1!

Looking forward to next weekend! I've been saying that I'll race this year. Here's testimony to my commitment.
Not sure how long she'll look like this, though.

Heya John
It would be a lot easier to make mine look like yours!
I can put a coat of paint on for you. Got red in the cupboard.
